TRADE
Natural resources are plentiful in Canada which allows for many opportunities for trade. According to Exploring Our World, Canada exports both oil and natural gas to the United States. Other natural resources exported are minerals such as iron ore, copper, nickel, gold and uranium. Canada has a temperate climate in the southern region which makes it good for farming. Agriculture which can be supported in this climate are dairy cattle, fruits and vegetables. These can be used for Canada's population or for trade with other countries. Timber is another good resource for making lumber and paper, which can be exported. Finally, due to the location of Canada and coastal shores of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, fishing has also been an important natural resource for Canada's economy.
